Kloosterboer expands its network in Norway

On Friday 22nd of May 2015, Kloosterboer officially bought  the Norwegian cold store Mosseporten Frysehotell AS. The facility, which has been in operation since 2009, is strategically located near the port of Moss, around 60 km from Oslo. This acquisition represents a first step in Kloosterboer’s strategy to expand its network in Scandinavia, as CEO Hans Kroes explained:  “In combination with the team in Sweden, where we are currently finalizing a new fully automated high bay cold store in Bjuv, we are well positioned to further develop our services as a logistics service provider in the Scandinavian market."

Mosseporten Frysehotell is one of the largest and most modern cold stores in Norway. Built into a mountain, it measures 8500 m² and has around 20,000 pallet spaces.
