ICCEE Project

ICCEE consists of a series of interrelated activities, which serve to develop a tailor-made tool and training courses for the increase of supply chain energy efficiency in the food and beverage sector.

What is it about?

The Improving Cold Chain Energy Efficiency (ICCEE) project will assist the cold chains of the food and beverage sector to implement energy efficiency measures after carrying out supply chain energy assessments.

Implementation

The implementation of the project´s holistic approach - shifting energy efficiency measures from a single company perspective to an assessment of the whole cold chain - will lead to increased opportunities for energy efficiency measures.

Accelerate Investments

Through expert analytical tools and dedicated stakeholder capacity building programmes, the ICCEE project will accelerate turning energy efficiency opportunities into actual investments, with a special focus on supply chains involving European small and medium sized enterprises.

Project Consortium

Project is coordinated by University of Brescia with 12 partners.
